Truck theft appeal

Police are searching for this man.

Police have appealed for help to identify a man who may be able to assist with their inquiries into the theft of two fully-loaded trucks from a Hallam yard in January.
On Thursday 23 March, police said the thieves struck at the Hallam South Road site between Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 January.
The first prime mover was a red 2003 Volvo with registration SOG 687 and the second was a 2012 Iveco with registration 1FK 4OB.
Both had trailers attached and shipping containers filled with various items.
They were equipped with e-TAGs and were detected on the Monash Freeway near the Domain Tunnel about 7.50am on 29 January.
Later that day, a witness saw the red truck arrive and park near his factory at Holcourt Road, Laverton North.
The witness spoke to the driver then contacted the victim and learnt the truck was stolen.
He provided a composite image of the driver and police have released the image in the hope that someone might know his identity.
Anyone with information should call Senior Constable Joustra at Casey CIU on 9705 3114 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
