Arsonists strike at pre-school

It's believed the blaze took roughly 20 minutes to get under control.

POLICE are appealing for any information after a disused pre-school building in Endeavour Hills was set on fire last weekend.
The fire is being treated as suspicious.
It’s understood no one has come forward in relation to the blaze at the Mossgiel Park Pre School site in Heathmere Crescent, while a recent police doorknock has seemingly garnered no leads.
Police and CFA were called to the blaze at one of the pre-school’s buildings around 1.30pm on Sunday 8 March, where the fire took 20 minutes to get under control.
The fire is believed to have accumulated at $400,000 worth of damage to the facility.
Four trucks from the Hallam and Dandenong CFA stations attended the incident.
The site is owned by council and is currently not being used. Last year it acted as a polling booth for the State Election.
A council spokesperson said the City of Casey is currently considering the “future use” of the site.
